Technical Visit to Shanghai/Suzhou/Nanjing(revision 7 June)

As one of the 25th Anniversary program, the Building Services Division organized a PRC delegation to Shanghai/Suzhou/Nanjing from 31 Mar to 4 Apr and more than 30 participants attended the visit,

On the first day of arrival in Shanghai, the delegation visited Expo2010 Shanghai site including the famous Saudi Arabia Pavilion, which features the world largest immersion screen with multi-projectors and the Broad Pavilion, which features with various energy efficient techniques including enhanced thermal insulation, triple- layered non- metallic framed windows, enhanced external shading and fresh air heat recovery. The Board Pavilion was also constructed to resist extreme earthquake with prefabricated components so that the structure could be built within 24 hours The pavilions are air conditioned through energy centres with gas driven absorption chillers.

On the second day on route to Suzhou, delegation had the opportunity to appreciate the ancient Chinese culture, handcrafts and heritage by taking the water tour in Zhouzhuang and visit to the famous Suzhou Garden museum designed by the world-class architect, Mr I. M Pei. The delegation subsequently visited the District cooling plant of the Suzhou Industrial Park which offers low carbon air-conditioning of 1.2 million sq. m at a peak capacity of 25150 TR using absorption chillers, fed with waste steam discharged by a local electricity generating plant in the vicinity.

 After a high speed railway journey to Nanjing, the Delegation had a valuable chance to look at the high standards of quality and safety management practiced in the air-conditioner, escalator and elevator factories of ATAL and the central absorption cooling plants of Greenland Square Zifeng Tower, the highest building in Nanjing. After visiting the city gas control centre, the Delegation had an experience sharing lunch about city gas development with the management of Nanjing Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Nanjing Towngas) and the Nanjing Municipal Gas Management officers

Throughout the technical visit, participants not only gained a better understanding about different building services and technologies in building   industries, also can have experience sharing and exchanges among delegation members. Delegation appreciated the leadership of Ir CK Wong, Chairman of BS Division and members of organizing committee for their well planning and coordination.

 

 

華東城市科技及文化交流團

今年是屋宇裝備分部成立第25周年,為了分享此喜悅以及加強成員間的聯繫,學會分部計劃了一系列的慶祝活動。活動的主題是「專業關愛, 擁抱社區」(Embracing the Community with Our Care)其中華東城市科技及文化考察團是重點活動之一。

這次交流團,由屋宇裝備分部主席黃志光工程師擔任團長,率領三十五人前往考察。以下是一篇團員感想的節錄。

3月31號至4月5號,我們參加了由香港工程師學會(屋宇裝備分部)主辦的華東城市新科技及文化交流團。是次行程十分豐富,科技交流方面,我們參觀了遠大空調設備有限公司、遠大能源服務公司和南京港華燃氣有限公司; 讓我們瞭解到內地的科技發展的確是一日千里,當中有些技術甚至比香港更先進,更環保,讓團員們都大開眼界。文化方面,遊覽了享負盛名的周莊水鄉感受當地風情,欣賞過上海世博會沙烏地阿拉伯館的富有現代的展覽`以及由貝律銘先生設計的蘇州博物館。是次交流團團員中有幾位長駐內地工作的工程師更與我們分享內地的工作環境及文化,使我們受益匪淺。

第一天參觀完上海世博會最受歡迎展館之一的沙特亞拉伯館後,交流團便參觀了遠大空調設備有限公司設在世博園內供冷供暖的能源調度中心。該中心內的兩台吸收式製冷機能供應每天800冷噸,用以供應該區冷氣及熱水的需要。同款的機組共52台,散佈在世博園區內23個能源調度中心,為220萬平方米範圍提供冷和熱的供應,成功地支援國際級博覽會的運作。交流團亦到訪了遠大集團在世博會的展館。該展館展示了遠大的一些研究成果,其中包括能抵禦高達9烈度地震衝擊的建築結構;能回收室內熱風作鮮風預熱的熱回收新風機;可減少建築物熱散失的三層玻塑框窗和外墻厚保溫技術。而該幢展館本身也是一個節材節能的環保建築。該館不但採用了上述技術及預製組件的方法,更只用了一天時間便成功建成了這個展館結耩。由此可見,節能、環保、省時而可靠的建築是指日可待的。


第二天雖然未有安排與工程相關的參觀,但團員卻可遊覽中國四大水鄉之一的周莊水鄉,既瞭解其歷史,更欣賞到景色秀麗的水鄉風情,使人心情 豁然開朗。

在第三天的上午,交流團到了蘇州工業園區科教創新區內的中新蘇州工業園區遠大能源服務有限公司(簡稱「中新遠大」)參觀。外型設計獨特的中新遠大的主站樓為該區供熱供冷的集中供冷中心,給11平方公里內的金融、商業、辦公、酒店、公寓等設拖供熱和供冷。中心內設有6台非電式、溴化鋰製冷機組,總容量3萬冷噸。藉著鄰近發電廠排放出的880oC蒸氣來推動的製冷機,有賴於這種熱電冷聯供能源利用方式,整個園區每年可節約3390噸標煤量。同類型的聯供項目在中國已經是第四個,而且正打算在蘇州多加幾個試點,希望當技術發展成熟時,可帶給市民更環保的生活。

離開蘇州後,旅行團便到達了南京,參觀南京安樂佳力圖精密空調廠及南京安諾電梯生產廠家。空調廠每天約處理300至500台空調機組,而客戶主要是電訊商,目的是為電腦數據庫作空調及抽濕。當中大部分都是直銷出國。而電梯廠於2001年開設,實行6S管理方法,已經成功取得ISO14000及ISO9001兩個國制標準。公司生產的扶手電梯會在廠內先組裝一次並運行三天,每天八小時,確保沒有運作問題。整個過程共有約50個步驟,絕對是專業和仔細的檢驗方式。

第四天的早上,旅行團先到達全南京市最高的綠地廣場超高大廈,瞭解遠大如何為這座大樓供應冷供熱。綠地廣場樓高450米,共89層,屬世界十大最高建築物之一。在地下的四台2000冷噸及一台750冷噸的製冷機正與另外能供應28噸蒸氣熱量的機組合力維持整個大樓的運作。圖中的是遠大的全球聯網控制系統,它能夠實時監察著任何的遠大的製冷機,瞭解其出水溫度、壓力及流量,以保持最高質素的服務。在午飯前旅行團參觀了南京港華有限公司的調度中心。南京港華燃氣有限公司現服務96萬個民用戶口及1000個工業用戶,屬南京市三個大型氣體供應商之一。公司的中低壓管道已超過2000公里,而且大部分已經有成環管網,可減少管道維修的影響性,為市民提供更可靠的供氣系統。調度中心24小時監察長約60公里的高壓管網中的各個調壓站的出入口壓力及天然氣流量,並將資訊顯示在螢幕上。受天氣的不穩定因素影響,天然氣的需求量時常出現突發性的高峰。因此公司備有三個天然氣儲罐和一個液化天然氣缸,合共335萬立方天然氣用作調峰。參觀過後,旅行團榮幸地邀請到南京港華燃氣有限公司總經理 紀偉毅先生及南京市燃氣管理處處長 張兆福先生與團員共進午餐,並分享南京管道天然氣的發展情況。

適逢清明,我們到中山陵及總統府參觀並追思當年國父追求民主之努力。有賴前人的貢獻,中國得以發展。這次交流之旅,不僅讓我們瞭解到中國的經濟和科技發展情況,更提供了難得的機會與內地工程師作深入的交流。同時也提醒了我們要認真的,實實在在的做好一位元工程師,在前人的基礎上,作出自己的一份力量更好的發展中國。
